Ashton Wildwood County Park
Ashton is a small county park near Baxter, Iowa. It features a small campground and a few miles of trails.
Ashton is also home to Ashton Observatory, a two dome astronomical observatory and classroom. The Des Moines Astronomical Society holds public nights most Saturdays in the summer with lectures and viewing through large telescopes.
